What does participation look like during the retreat?
You are free to participate at the level that feels right for you, participation is voluntary. Nothing is required, and no one will be singled out.

What if I don't know anyone?
You won’t be the only one. There will be a lot of men who don’t know anyone. Here too, you can meet other men at your own comfort level.

Who will I be rooming with?
You may request a roommate during registration. If you don’t know anyone, please note that in the comments, and we will assign you to a room with others who are easy to connect with.

I don't consider myself a strong Christian.
You are not the only one. All of us struggle in our faith. Coming to this retreat will give you a comfortable way to grow closer to Christ and to learn more about what it means to be a Christian in a non-judgemental environment.

Are the lodge accommodations handicap accessible?
The lodge accommodations are handicap accessible. The only exceptions are the roughing-it and glamping options. Lodge accommodations include private showers; roughing-it cabins have shared bathrooms with private stalls.

What if can’t afford it financially?
Finances are tight for many of us. The good news is those of us who have the means to help cover the cost for those of us who have limited finances have given extra for this purpose. Just let us know this in the comment section.

How do I get up there?
You are free do drive up on your own (it takes a little bit over an hour to get to the camp from the church parking lot). If you would like to carpool with other men, please specify this in the comment section. Let us know if you are willing to drive or need a ride. There will be plenty of space for parking.

What is the schedule?
There will be four sessions total:
· One on Friday evening
· Three on Saturday
· One on Sunday morning
These gatherings are much like a Sunday church service, and you can participate at your own comfort level.
In addition to the four sessions, four quality meals are included in the cost of the retreat:
· Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday
· Breakfast on Sunday

Will there be any free time?
Yes! There will be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, play cards and other games in the dining hall, hike, take a nap, or participate in optional meetings.
Men’s Breakfast
Join the men of Southside for fellowship, encouragement from the Word, delicious breakfast, and some good clean fun. The Men’s Breakfast happens on the fourth Saturday of the month, from 7:45 to 9am. Come get to know the men of our church!
